So it's ridiculous that I want a new cookbook, but having seen some images from Yotam Ottolenghi's Plenty, I am *desperate* to own it.
Ottolenghi isn't vege at all, but he has written a book of 120 vegetarian recipes after his long running column - the New Vegetarian -in the Guardian. I love his philosophy towards food in general, and we share our approach to vegetarianism - I eat meat , but sometimes I prefer not to.
Sometimes it's because I don't fancy it, but mainly it's because vegetarian food can be so beautiful and I'm a sucker for a pretty plate - and Ottolenghi is the master of proving that:
green bean salad with mustard seeds and tarragon
figs with basil, pomegranate vinaigrette, goat's cheese
avo, quinoa and fava bean salad
happy healthy Monday!
