meat-free monday: tarts for the tarts!

Late. 
But not late if you're a few hours behind me, based in England. 
Or actually, early - if you save it for next week since it's so late.

*and* 
it's a real recipe,
not just instructions for throwing together a bunch of stuff with instructions to cheat rather than try properly. 

This is on my kitchen notice board, 
and is for Kirst who came to stay this weekend and commented numerous times on how yummy these look: 




The thing is, Kirst is famous for her roast chicken & to-die-for lemon gravy (*To-Die-For*), and I am not sure I want to dilute her cooking talents.

I will report back.
