This past week I've been travelling between my most special nieces in the North of England and a friend's home on the South Coast.

One has made blogging and general internetting almost impossible due to two little people being very demanding of my time...

which is totally forgivable since they are so cute, and there are very important things to be doing outside, like seeing if Tugi can break her record for backwards skipping on the trampoline. (current record stands at 107 jumps)

The other has made blogging totally impossible given the state of the building works - namely, Carie deciding to 'help' her electrician by doing some weekend work of her own - and deciding the cord that carries the magic of the web was superfluous to needs, and so ripping it out...oops.

But lots has been happening, even if not on the blog.

I've decided, finally, after much delay, to settle in Hamble for the foreseeable future - at least six months since that's the tenancy agreemeent! I'm two weeks away from a year of being 'freelance;' I've caught 32 flights during that time, I've spread my year between the States, SA and the UK almost equally, and I'm tired of living out of suitcases.

So the flat is all agreed, I move in on the 2nd August, and my head is full of ideas as to how I want to live. I am so excited to have a home again - as much as I've been so lucky to be so nomadic for so long, I'm so excited to be surrounded by all my treasures and you can expect long discourses about decor decisions...
