meat-free monday: child-labour of love

Seriously, so easy as to be child's play.

In fact, it was.

Tugi, who turns six tomorrow, made dinner.

Child-labour (of love, and under supervision)

If you want to make your own puff pastry, you're weird.
Just buy it.
Or google it.

Caramelise some onions with butter and muscavado sugar.
(I drank the white wine last night.)
If you're doing it in America, you'll caramelize-with-a-Zee.

Bang whatever else you have on top,
we had asparagus and red pepper,
and cook it.

I favour goat's cheese.
But the nearly-6 year old vetoed it.

And since she was cooking, there wasn't much I could do about it.
