covet: the weimaranar sofa

I've always secretly had a thing for grey velvet sofas.

It was never meant to be a secret,
it's just that grey velvet sofas
don't always come up in conversation,
and given their relaxed yet opulent and somewhat glamorous vibe
it would seem uncouth to force my admiration,
and sometimes out-and-out lust,
 into conversation.

If you're going to have a chesterfield, at least sex it up a bit.

Quite fancy this one, the Jayson Home and Garden Ellory Sofa, with some fancy cushions:
Although the JAR designs Cary Gray is a goodie too:

Both are totally the equivalent of second prize compared to the super-sexy Salt Sofa from Origins Design in London's King Road:

And then today Jenny at MFAMB posted this:

which only fuelled my desire to own one,
and then she called them 'weimaranar sofas.'

I always thought Weimaranars looked intelligent,
and quite glamorous, as dogs go,
befitting perhaps of Grace Kelly,
and their coats make me want to stroke them

but I don't even really *like* dogs.
I'm much more a cat person.

So I am really rather relieved
to find out I don't need a dog after all,
but a grey velvet sofa.

Amen.
Thank you Jenny!

Love, Lust, all works for me :)

thanks for the inspiration - and now I have no need to invest in a pooper scooper, so that's all good too!
